Well, our time here in Jeffery's is winding down. I don't really have much to say this week, so I'll just tell you a little story from the week:
There is a little girl that goes to Ithemba. Her name is Notombi. She is one of the smartest children that goes to the creche. Oh, my goodness! She is soooooo cute. Anyways, she always loves to sit on my lap and tell me stories (she speaks Xhosa, so i have no idea what they are). She also thinks that anytime she sits on my lap is "singing time." She loves to sit on my lap and sings songs and I will sing along with her. One of my favorite songs that she sings is Baa Baa Black Sheep. Any time she sings it, she wraps her arms around my neck and sings it with the sweetest voice.
Now, she is four years old, so the words don't always come out like they should. For example, Baa Baa Black Sheep sounds like this: baa baa blat shee, hanoo anu hoool...... Hahaha. She is so adorable. I have learned to cherish these sweet little moments whenever they occur.
This week she sat on my lap and started singing songs. After each song she would look at me for a second or two and then she would start laughing histarically. She doesn't have her two front teeth and she would stick her tongue out when she laughed! Oh, my goodness. She was being so silly, i couldn't contain my laughter. I love Notombi so much!
Well, that is a cool little anecdote from the week. This week was very fun. Please be praying for our team as our time is drawing to a close. I only have eight more ministry days at Ithemba!!! It hit me this afternoon, and i shed a few tears. Thanks for all your support! Lots of love!
